We talk with San Diego Magazine publisher and CEO Jim Fitzpatrick about the magazine and business in general.

He used to fly fighter jets, so risk-taking is in his blood. He acquired the magazine in 1994 from the founder, sold it in 2005, and then reacquired it in 2010.
